Abstract

Abstract: Suicide is a preventable event, although at times its occurrence is unpredictable. It is a tragedy that causes tremendous pain to patients and families. Suicidal behaviours include suicidal ideation, attempts and completed suicide. Suicide is a major public health problem of our times. It is one among the 10 leading causes of death.
